Responsible for directing and coordinating all nursing care for patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. Supports the organization’s vision and mission. Utilizes knowledge of patient’s developmental age and cultural diversity in the provision of patient and family-centered care. Contributes to the provision of quality nursing care through performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care. Qualifications Minimum Position Requirements Work Experience Full Time – None Required. Part-time, PRN, Contract, and Travelers – at least one year of experience required. Float Pool, Transport, Nurse Imaging, and Multispecialty Center (regardless of work status) – at least one year of experience.  License/Registration/Certification Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas or Compact Licensure.  Certification by Unit Departments Upon Hire Obtained within 6 months from Date of Hire Obtained within 12 months from Date of Hire Obtained within 18 months from Date of Hire  RN BLS ACLS PALS NRP STABLE APHON TNCC ENPC PICU X X  X    X  Pediatrics X X  X      IMCU X X  X      Hematology/Oncology X X  X   X   NICU X X   X X    Perioperative Services X X X X      Emergency Dept X X X X X** X**  X X Float Pool X X X* X*      Transport X X X X X X  X X Nurse Imaging X X X X      Multispecialty Center X X        *   For Float Pool, ACLS and PALS are required upon hire. **   For Emergency Dept.
