About the Role

We are seeking a motivated, people-oriented Sales & Design Associate to join our sales team. In this role you’ll guide customers through the full buying journey, deliver thoughtful design consultations, and build long-term customer relationships. We are looking for someone who has strong interpersonal skills, who is motivated by collaborating and interacting with others, and has a desire to grow their career at Copenhagen through professional development.

Compensation

Our average sales associate makes over $60k per year. Hourly plus commission or strict commission, your choice. We offer competitive benefits and wages including HSA/life insurance, profit sharing, 401k, paid time off, and many other voluntary benefits.

What You Will Do

·Guide customers in store and by phone through product selection and the buying process

·Present product knowledge and recommendations to help customers find the best solutions for their home and budget

·Close sales and manage follow-up (orders, custom specifications)

·Communicate proactively with delivery teams, drivers, and sales staff about timing and special requests

·Maintain the showroom (staging, merchandising, and cleanliness) to create an inviting customer experience

·Meet or exceed sales goals and participate in spiff/promotional programs

Skills / Requirements

·Full-time availability: weekend coverage is required (schedules provide two days off per week)

·Retail and/or Design Experience is preferred; High school diploma or G.E.D.

·Design consultation or space-planning experience preferred

·Computer literacy and comfort learning sales/design software

·Strong interpersonal and communication skills — relationship building is key

·Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
