Duties include but are not limited to: performs Tigua social dances at public events both at Tigua Indian Cultural Center and Museum and at off-site locations; creates arts and crafts for museum display and resale; provides museum tours; other position related duties as required and assigned.QualificationsMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 1. Must be at least 14 years old and enrolled in school; 2. Enrolled member of Tigua Tribe; 3. Must be able to work weekends and accommodate flexible schedule; 3. Bilingual - English/Spanish; 4. Must be able to successfully pass a post offer drug screen and criminal history background check. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES: Knowledge of Tigua social dances and dancer regalia; knowledge of Native American history, culture, language, traditions, arts, crafts and traditions with a preference of Tigua cultural knowledge; must be outgoing and have good communication skills; knowledge of principles and processes for providing excellent customer service; ability to effectively speak and perform in individual and/or group setting; must possess skills in public speaking.   The right is reserved under provisions PL 93-638 Section (b), (f), (g), (i), 20 USD450 Indian Self Determination and Education Assistance Act of 1974 to give preference and opportunity for employment, training, and contracts to Indians.
