pThe Trailer Mechanic will be responsible for repairing trailers to ensure efficient operation and compliance by performing the following duties./ppstrongemSchedule:/em/strongstrongMonday-Friday 8am-5pm/strong/ppstrongResponsibilities:/strong/pul liInspects, adjusts, and repairs trailers with minor problems./li liEnsures equipment is functioning properly and within Department of Transportation compliance./li liTroubleshoots electrical/mechanical malfunctions on air brakes, switches, lighting circuits, control valves, relief valves, and other items./li liAdjusts mechanical items such as doors and slack adjusters./li liPerforms light maintenance such as replacing/repairing marker lights, seals, airbags, and mud flaps./li liPerforms trailer body repairs such as patching of roofs, panels, rail repairs, door sections, floor sections, cross-member replacement, etc./li liMinor welding repairs./li liRepairs/replaces tires, wheel bearings and seals./li liChanges fluids and filters as necessary./li liReplace and adjust brakes for proper function./li liInspects and cleans parts; submits orders if part must be replaced./li liConfirms proper function of equipment and truck after maintenance./li liOther duties as assigned by management./li/ul Pay Range: 15.00-20.00 per_hour, General Benefits:
