About the Role:
Desert East Animal Hospital in El Paso, TX is looking for a friendly and organized Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our clinic. If you love animals and people equally, this is your chance to make a meaningful impact every single day in a fast-paced, rewarding veterinary environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and their pets with a warm, professional welcome upon arrival
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls, emails, and appointment requests
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments using veterinary practice management software
- Process payments, invoices, and maintain accurate client billing records
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and waiting area
- Communicate effectively between clients and veterinary staff regarding patient care updates
- Manage client records, medical histories, and data entry with accuracy
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior receptionist, customer service, or front desk experience preferred
- Experience in a veterinary or medical office setting is a plus
- Proficiency with computers and scheduling software
- Strong communication and multitasking skills in a busy environment
- Compassionate, patient, and calm demeanor with both people and animals
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred for the El Paso community
