  • MayĀ be requiredĀ to have forkliftĀ certificationĀ 
  • SAP experience is aĀ plusĀ 
  • Must be able to read and understand blueprint/materialĀ drawingsĀ

  • Responsible for the continuous supply of materials to one or more production or assemblyĀ areasĀ 
  • Responsible for ā€œkittingā€ materials on the production line to ensure all parts of orderĀ requiredĀ are at point of origination to keep line moving at steadyĀ paceĀ 
  • Responsible for picking parts from Kanban or storage areas and placing the parts into aĀ storage bin (kit)Ā 
  • Ensures correct parts are kept in theĀ appropriate quantitiesĀ to support production andĀ assemblyĀ requirementsĀ 
  • May take parts from inventory area and ensures Water Spider is kept stocked atĀ appropriate levelsĀ ofĀ inventoryĀ 
  • Performs repetitive and advanced material supply functions following detailed workĀ direction andĀ guidelinesĀ 
  • MayĀ operateĀ forklift truck or hand truck for delivery or picking of parts andĀ suppliesĀ 
  • Sorts and counts parts and supplies and logsĀ inventoryĀ 
  • Inspects parts for damages or defects; records discrepancies or damages and notifiesĀ supervisor and/orĀ purchasingĀ personnelĀ 
  • Expedites parts and uses independent judgement to resolve partĀ shortagesĀ 
  • May trace or track lost parts andĀ suppliesĀ 
  • Regularly interacts with production assemblers andĀ testersĀ 
  • MayĀ maintainĀ department database, prepare routine reports, and fileĀ KitterĀ recordsĀ 
  • Document material movement using computerĀ tabletsĀ 
  • Responsible for rotating KB material FIFOĀ 
  • Material audits, turning in and documenting KB cards forĀ replenishmentĀ 
  • Follows established departmental policies, procedures, andĀ objectives, continuous qualityĀ improvementĀ objectives, and safety, environmental, and/or infection controlĀ standardsĀ 
  • Document proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotesĀ continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmentalĀ practicesĀ 
  • Establishes andĀ maintainsĀ a safe and healthful working environmentĀ in accordance withĀ OSHAĀ requirementsĀ 
  • Performs other tasks as may be requested to assure the effective andĀ continuousĀ utilizationĀ ofĀ assetsĀ 
  • Performs other duties as assigned to ensure the success of the warehouse, receiving, or shipping functionsĀ

Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
