OverviewĀ
Ā Has at least the same operator skills of LWB2 (multiple operation skills)Ā
- Typically works within a warehouse sector and a group of between 8 - 15 operators LWB1 and LWB2Ā
- Responsible for the safety, ergonomic, and 5S behavior within the sectorĀ
- Responsible for training and certification of operators LWB1 and LWB2 and contributing to the updates of the versatility and training matrixĀ
- Required to complete LWB1 and LWB2 activities as neededĀ
- Leads the sector SIM1 meetingĀ
- Basic problem solving or simple maintenance as requiredĀ
- May be responsible for temporarily moving or shifting individual operators from one position or sector to another depending on changes in demand or prioritiesĀ
- May be responsible for (contributing to the) creation/updating Operational Work Standard (OWS) and Job Breakdown Sheet (JBS)Ā

Responsibilities (may include, but are not limited to)Ā

- Ensure compliance with HSE and 5S rules throughout the sector, including reporting and managing incidents and near missesĀ
- Support inventory accuracy & correction operations are realizedĀ
- Drive the actions to get service level, quality, environment, process lead time, maintenance & ensures productivity goals are reachedĀ
- Lead SIM cycle 1 according to SPS rules, ensuring the quality of information provided to the warehouse supervisor for SIM 2Ā
- Make sure operators are trained & validates training levelsĀ
- Drive in real-time daily adjustments of staff according to the needs and job rotationĀ
- Key contributor to the work instruction (physical tasks and IT tasks)Ā
- Request to Order Management the replenishment of consumables not managed by ROP in the systemĀ
- Contribute or lead continuous improvement actionsĀ
- Responsible for the continuous supply of materials to one or more production or assembly areasĀ
- Responsible for ākittingā materials on the production line to ensure all parts of order required are at point of origination to keep line moving at steady paceĀ
- Responsible for picking parts from Kanban or storage areas and placing the parts into a storage bin (kit)Ā
- Ensures correct parts are kept in the appropriate quantities to support production and assembly requirementsĀ
- May take parts from inventory area and ensures Water Spider is kept stocked at appropriate levels of inventoryĀ
- Performs repetitive material supply functions following detailed work direction and guidelinesĀ
- May operate forklift truck or hand truck for delivery or picking of parts and suppliesĀ
- Sorts and counts parts and supplies and logs inventoryĀ
- Inspects parts for damages or defects; records discrepancies or damages and notifies supervisor and/or purchasing personnelĀ
- May trace or track lost parts and suppliesĀ
- May maintain department database, prepare routine reports, and file kitting recordsĀ
- Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental, and/or infection control standardsĀ
- Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practicesĀ
- Document material movement using computer tabletsĀ
- Establishes and maintains a safe and healthful working environment in accordance with OSHA requirementsĀ
- Performs other tasks as may be requested to assure the effective and continuous utilization of assetsĀ
