We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Dish Operator to join our kitchen team in El Portal, California. This behind-the-scenes role is essential to maintaining cleanliness and efficiency in our restaurant. If you take pride in keeping things clean and organized, we want to hear from you!

Pay: $16.90/hour

Position: Part-Time or Full-Time AM or PM Shift

Key Responsibilities

• Operate dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools
• Maintain cleanliness of dish area, kitchen floors, and trash disposal areas
• Assist with restocking clean items and organizing storage areas
• Support kitchen team with basic prep and cleaning tasks as needed
• Follow safety and sanitation procedures at all times
• Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure timely availability of clean items

Requirements

• Prior dishwashing or kitchen experience preferred, but not required
• Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable and punctual with attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
• Must have or be willing to obtain a California Food Handler Card
• Weekend and evening availability preferred
