This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, as well as a commitment to safety and quality. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Perform repairs as well as routine and preventative maintenance on a variety of industrial equipment, including mixers, conveyors, pumps, motors, valves, packaging lines and facility infrastructure as needed. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. The ability to troubleshoot and test equipment as necessary to solve problems and pro-actively prevent them. Ability to cut, thread, bend, and strap electrical conduit as needed. Ability to cut, thread, and install black pipe as needed. Install and commission new equipment as required. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities. Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain a clean and organized work area. QualificationsQualifications: High school diploma minimum. Journeyman Electrician or Electrical Apprentice License 3+ years of experience as a maintenance mechanic in an industrial setting or equivalent experience. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to read schematics and equipment manuals to repair equipment and order parts from approved vendors as necessary. Experience with fabrication, electrical, hydraulic, fluid transfer. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Ability to work overtime and call-outs as needed. Ability to communicate effectively with all level of the organization. Electrical licensure a plus. Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for work order management Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong commitment to safety and quality. Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to stand, walk, and climb for extended periods of time.
