THE OPPORTUNITY

Americas Finance Team is looking to hire a talented accountant.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct monthly/quarterly/annual book close including (1) posting month-end journal entries and (2) preparing balance reconciliation
Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual consolidation package and variance analysis, which are reported to HQ (Seoul, Korea)
Review and approve payment requests including invoice, corporate credit card and reimbursement transactions
Reconcile intercompany transactions & balances and make bills
Reconcile physical assets to book record
Implement and maintain entity-wide or finance-specific systems/tools (Kissflow, SAP, Concur, etc)
Assist with annual budgeting and conduct budget vs actual analysis
Respond to financial statement audit/review and tax filings by accounting firm
Handle technical accounting matters with accounting firm and HQ
Manage vendor master including their tax form
Prepare/review daily cash balance report and bank reconciliations
Conduct vendor payment through SAP
Keep track of employee fringe benefits
Work on internal procedures/controls in relation to procurement, financial reporting and treasury as required by HQ SOX
Perform ad hoc tasks as necessary

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
3-5 years of experience in accounting at private companies or audit at public accounting firms
Knowledge of accounting and financial reporting competencies
Excellent in Microsoft Excel
SAP experience is a plus
Team player and detail oriented
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Fast learning, agility and adaptability to change
Highly organized and diligent, with excellent time-management skills and can-do attitude
Bilingual in English & Korean; able to communicate with HQ office located in Korea
