Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role
  • Partner with Automotive, Compute, and Industrial customers and marketing teams to define Point‑of‑Load (PoL) product requirements, operating modes, and pin functions with clear, specifications
  • Co-develop PoL architectures and control strategies (e.g., COT, VM, CM); specify MOSFETs, passives (L/C), and packaging to meet target application needs
  • Perform system- and circuit-level simulations to explore new concepts, verify requirements, and inform design decisions
  • Collaborate with IC design teams to implement definitions, validate silicon, prototype platforms, and support initial customer design-in and product verification
  • Resolve complex technical challenges through simulation, system evaluation, and hands-on bench testing
  • Enable go-to-market by creating evaluation boards, datasheets, application notes, test reports, white papers, and design tools; develop promotional materials that clearly communicate value
  • Build deep application knowledge and customer relationships through regular engagements
  • Provide advanced training for FAEs and customer teams, deliver second-level technical support, and share competitive insights on VR solutions


Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

  • BSEE/MSEE or equivalent, with 7+ years in power electronics and 3+ years focused on PoL product definition and development
  • Strong foundation in power conversion topologies, power devices, magnetics, and control‑loop design
  • Skilled in selecting and applying MOSFETs, gate drivers, capacitors, and inductors for PoL designs and applications
  • Proficient with modeling and simulation tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, SIMetrix, or comparable platforms
  • Hands-on lab experience using oscilloscopes, function generators, and network analyzers to test and debug switching power supplies
  • Collaborative and customer-centered, partnering across Marketing, FAEs, Sales, IC Design, and Product Development to drive successful outcomes; proactive in addressing complex design and customer challenges
  • Well organized with strong written and verbal English communication and presentation skills; manages multiple priorities and solves problems independently

Raleigh, North Carolina, Minimum of $179,520 base salary per year / Maximum of $246,840 base salary per year

In addition, all employees will be eligible to participate in an incentive plan.
