Job DetailsJob Location: 340 HWY 68 - SAN JUAN PUEBLO, NM 87566Position Type: Full TimeJob Shift: AnySUMMARY: The Restaurant Server is responsible for taking orders and serving food, alcoholic and/or non-alcoholic beverages. Ensure guest’s tables are cleaned and removed of all used plates, utensils, glassware, etc., Maintains the cleanliness of the restaurant. ESSENTIAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES, and TASKS include the following and are to be performed within the company’s policies and procedures. Additional duties may be assigned. • Takes the food order(s) from the guests. • Ensure that guests have everything needed to enjoy their meal. • Informs immediate supervisor of any food, beverage, or service problems that arise. • Buss tables as necessary and ensure area around the tables is clean. • Maintains the cleanliness of restaurant area. • Ensures area is stocked with utensils, cups, glasses, napkins, etc. • Gives basic instruction on all promotions and special events. • Follows the station and safety rules and regulations for food safety and service. • Maintaining compliance with all Federal, State, and local gaming regulations in addition to the delivering of exceptional guest service to all internal and external guests. • Maintain confidentiality of guest and member information and pertinent casino data. • Always maintain good personal hygiene and a professional appearance. • Compliance with punctuality and attendance policies required. • Working independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. • Ability to successfully interact with all levels of team members and management. QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE • High school diploma or GED equivalent. • Six (6) months restaurant server with food and beverage experience in a high-volume casino and/or hospitality setting experience, preferred. • Casino experience preferred. • Ability to obtain and maintain Food Handlers Certification. • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required OOGC License. • Must be a US citizen or provide documentation to work in the US. SKILLS: • Cash handling experience. • Knowledge of POS system and vouchers. • Experience brewing or serving coffee and coffee products. • Knowledge of or experience with general mathematical concepts. • Knowledge and implementation of customer service principles, techniques, systems, and standards. • Excellent oral and written communications skills. • Ability to foster a cooperative work environment. • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively. EQUIPMENT: • Coffee machine. • Soda machine. • Juice machine. • Milk machine. • Food trays • Carts.
