Job DetailsJob Location: 340 HWY 68 - SAN JUAN PUEBLO, NM 87566Position Type: Full TimeJob Shift: DaySUMMARY: Responsible for assisting Casino guests with their food orders, purchases and taking them to their table in the restaurant. Maintains the cleanliness of the cantina seating area and assist servers with cleaning tables. ESSENTIAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES, and TASKS include the following and are to be performed within the company’s policies and procedures. Additional duties may be assigned. Takes the food order(s) from the guests. Process POS cash and credit card sales and accurately count change. Takes and delivers guest’s special-order beverage requests. Informs immediate supervisor of any food, beverage, or service problems that arise. Maintains the cleanliness of cantina seating area and the restaurant area. Ensures area is stocked with flat ware, cups, glasses, napkins, etc. Gives basic instruction on all promotions and special events. Follows the station and safety rules and regulations for food safety and service. Maintaining compliance with all Federal, State, and local gaming regulations in addition to the delivering of exceptional guest service to all internal and external guests. Maintain confidentiality of guest and member information and pertinent casino data. Always maintain good personal hygiene and a professional appearance. Compliance with punctuality and attendance policies required. Working independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Ability to successfully interact with all levels of team members and management. QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Six (6) months beverage server with food and beverage card handling experience in a high-volume casino and/or hospitality setting experience, preferred. Ability to obtain and maintain Food Handlers Certification. Must be able to obtain and maintain the required OOGC License. Must be a US citizen or provide documentation to work in the US. SKILLS: Cash handling experience. Knowledge of POS cash and credit card system. Knowledge of or experience with general mathematical concepts. Knowledge and implementation of customer service principles, techniques, systems, and standards. Excellent oral and written communications skills. Ability to foster a cooperative work environment. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively. EQUIPMENT: Fountain machine. Coffee machine. Juice machine Milk machine POS cash and credit card system. The employee will be required to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time, may occasionally be required to stoop, kneel, stretch, bend, and lift, up to 25 pounds. May be required to lift over 25 pounds on occasion.
