Job Summary and Responsibilities

As an Occupational Therapist, you will help patients regain independence and quality of life so they can safely perform daily activities.Every day you will assess diverse patients (orthopedic, neurological, sensory, cancer recovery, etc.), develop treatment plans, and conduct evaluations/re-evaluations. You will be expected to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, document thoroughly, and provide positive, motivating care to a high volume of patients.To be successful in this role, you must be flexible, adaptable, exceptionally organized, and a personable, motivating team player.

  • Patient care including evaluation and treatment of patients referred by providers
  • Provides appropriate supervision for department support personnel
  • Completes documentation related to patient care in a timely manner
  • Participates in and provides educational in-services for staff and providers
  • Collaborates with healthcare team and provides professional recommendations regarding patient care
  • Participates in patient related care coordination activities (e.g. care conferences, etc.)

Job Requirements

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • Occupational Therapist: MN 
  • Basic Life Support - CPR, within 6 - months

Preferred

  • Entry level masters/doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Pediatric experience
