We’re Hiring: Camshaft Grinding Technician

Do you enjoy working with precision machinery and producing components that require exact tolerances?

AMBAC International is hiring Camshaft Grinding Technicians to support our manufacturing and remanufacturing operations in Elgin, SC. This role is responsible for grinding and finishing camshafts used in fuel injection systems that power heavy-duty diesel engines around the world.

This position offers the opportunity to develop specialized machining skills while working in a team-focused environment committed to quality and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do

• Set up and operate camshaft grinding equipment
• Grind camshaft components to required dimensions and specifications
• Verify measurements using precision inspection tools
• Perform visual and dimensional quality inspections
• Follow production schedules, work instructions, and safety procedures
• Troubleshoot minor equipment and process issues as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

What You Bring

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Mechanical aptitude and interest in machining processes
• Ability to read measurements and work instructions accurately
• Manufacturing, machining, grinding, or industrial experience preferred
• Willingness to learn specialized grinding techniques
• Dependable attendance and positive attitude
