We seek individuals who are self-motivated, collaborative, and emotionally intelligent.   Summary: Responsible for programming and operation of CNC wood routers to manufacture products to customer drawings, specifications, or other forms of instruction.   Supervisory Responsibilities: None.   Duties/Responsibilities: Performs all tasks safely and responsibly. CNC programming of Holzher CNC router (CAD/CAM a plus). Load and unload the router. Initiate programs and operate CNC for best quality output. Read and interpret plans, sketches, and shop drawings. Work with designers and management to achieve customer satisfaction. Maintain a high level of production while maintaining quality. Responding to quick turn-around orders. Performing well in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment. Determine the type and dimensions of wood stock to be used. Nesting to minimize waste or raw stock. Maintain and clean both the equipment and work area. Perform related duties as assigned.   Required Skills/Abilities: Engineering and Technology — Be able to apply principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services. Understand and interpret router files. Oversee cutting strategies to maintain precise cutting and bit life. Strategize the best use of new and remnant materials. Load and unload sheet goods onto the router bed. Clean, trim, deburr, and collate finished pieces. Maintain machines according to the maintenance schedule. Communicate problems and progress to technical management. Assist other departments when time allows. Maintain a safe work environment. Proficient with tools and construction materials. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to read and interpret drawings.   Education and Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED). 1-4 years of experience preferred. Forklift experience.   Physical Requirements:  Repetitive use of feet and hands Ability to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly.
