Position Title: Consumer Lending Sales Specialist

Full Salary Range:Â $20.70 - $31.05
Hiring Salary Range:$20.70 - $25.87
Position Summary
The Consumer Lending Sales Specialist is responsible for generating and originating consumer loans through inbound and outbound sales activities. This role manages phone and internet applications, conducts outbound prospecting, guides members through the lending process, establishes memberships when required, and promotes deposit products that strengthen member relationships. The position is commission eligible and is expected to achieve established lending, sales, and service goals.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Accept and process inbound loan applications and inquiries.
- Manage internet loan leads and digital applications.
- Conduct outbound calling campaigns to generate new lending opportunities.
- Interview applicants and gather required information.
- Collect, verify, and track stipulations and supporting documentation.
- Explain loan decisions, terms, conditions, and funding requirements.
- Prepare and distribute loan documents for signature.
- Prepare completed loans for funding and quality control review.
- Establish membership accounts when required prior to funding.
- Educate members on basic deposit products and services.
- Maintain compliance with lending policies and regulations.
- All other duties as assigned.Â
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate or Bachelor degree preferred.
- 2–4 years of experience in consumer lending, loan origination, financial services sales, or a high-volume sales and service environment required.
- Experience with consumer loan applications, loan processing, indirect lending, call center operations, or financial institution sales preferred.
