Job Description

In this role as an Industrial Engineer of Continuous Improvement you will:

  • Design and implement industrial systems that incorporate people, systems, equipment, materials, and space to optimize use of all resources.

  • Collect and interpret complex data sets; perform detailed work studies (time/motion) to identify bottlenecks, measure process capability, improve ergonomics and deliver improved overall operational effectiveness (OEE).

  • Design manufacturing methods, procedures, and plan production sequences.

  • Develop and conducts training programs to promote efficient and effective personnel and equipment use.

  • Execute projects using Lean Six Sigma methodologies to drive measurable efficiencies, cost reductions, and quality improvements.

  • Plan and facilitate Kaizen events and workshops to engage cross-functional teams in process improvement initiatives.

  • Other duties as assigned

Additional Qualified Skills:

  • Lean Six Sigma Certified Belt with deep, hands-on expertise in Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies (DMAIC).
  • Proven change agent with the ability to motivate teams, drive project progress and handle ambiguity and drive results in a fast-paced environment.

Target Base Salary Range: $65,900  - $85,000 

Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.
