Processing Technician - Meat Cutter

Job DetailsJob Location: Southside Processing LLC - Elgin, TX 78621Southside Processing is currently looking for a full time Processing Technician - Meat Cutter.  This position is eligible for full time benefits that will include health, dental, vision and vacation and sick leave. Primary Functions: Raw Material Preparation Cut and trim protein to set specifications. Weigh proteins using scale system accurately. Package fresh product for orders. Sanitation of all equipment and areas used in job position   QualificationsSkills and Experienced Required: Willingness to work and capacity to learn. Prior plant or warehouse experience preferred. Experience working in a USDA facility preferred. Bilingual preferred. Qualifications: Related work experience. Strong skills in working with people. Cooperative, strong work ethic, positive attitude, professional demeanor. Ability to discern problems and devise solutions. Present a professional bearing and appearance. Physical Demands: Ability to lift and/or move up to 80 pounds.
