Associate Attorney (2–5 Years' Experience) – Landlord-Tenant, Commercial Litigation & Real Estate

We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Associate Attorney with 2–5 years of litigation experience to join our growing law office.

Our law office concentrates in commercial and residential landlord-tenant law, commercial litigation, and a broad range of real estate matters. We represent property owners, landlords, developers, management companies, investors, and businesses in disputes involving commercial and residential leases, real estate transactions, contract claims, title and ownership issues, and other real estate-related matters We are committed to providing practical, strategic, and results-oriented legal representation while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and client service.

This position is ideal for an attorney who wants to become a skilled litigator through immediate courtroom experience and meaningful responsibility. Associates are entrusted with handling cases from the outset, regularly appear in court, and work closely with experienced attorneys who provide hands-on mentorship, guidance, and support. Responsibilities

  • Handle commercial and residential landlord-tenant matters from inception through resolution.
  • Represent clients in court appearances, hearings, oral arguments, settlement conferences, and trials.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery demands and responses, legal memoranda  as needed.
  • Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies.
  • Handle commercial litigation involving leases, real estate disputes, contract claims, and other real estate-related matters.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and third parties.
  • Manage an active caseload independently while collaborating with attorneys and support staff.
Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to practice law in New Jersey.
  • 2–5 years of experience 
  • Excellent legal research, writing, advocacy, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organizational and case management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced litigation environment.
