Responsibilities:

  • Handle phone dispatch to coordinate and monitor all transportation and routing operations.
  • Keeps customers informed by forwarding notice of item availability, shipment date and method, and current status, answering questions.
  • Verifies items shipped by matching bills of lading, reconciling quantities, and noting discrepancies.
  • Inventories and verifies damaged stock upon arrival in warehouse
  • Manages and facilitates the process or repairing and replacing damaged items in a 48-hour time frame
  • Update inventory software system for damages, repairs, and new items
  • Prepare accurate reports for upper management.
  • Other projects and/or duties as assigned which may include minor warehouse assistance.
Key Qualifications:

  • Salary Rage based on experience
  • 1-2 years Warehouse experience preferred.
  • Energetic and professional with excellent verbal skills.
  • Focus and remain on task in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Time management skills
  • Able to work well under pressure
  • Must be able to work well with other staff members and supervisors
  • Must have an open availability, flexible and able to work various shifts and over time.
  • High school diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Computer literate in Office Suite programs, CRM software and navigating the internet.
  • Prior furniture rental experience
  • Prior customer service experience
**Our office located in Midtown, NYC, and our current warehouse is located at Elizabeth NJ. Within the next couple of months, we will be relocating our warehouse to Bridgeport, CT. Temporarily, this role will be located in a coworking space located in Bridgeport, however when available, this role will be permanently located in our new Bridgeport Warehouse Location.
