Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
  • Monitor financial performance against budgets and provide variance analysis.
  • Prepare cash flow projections and ensure liquidity management.
  • Oversee general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll processes.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP and local regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits and implement recommendations.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, management reports, and dashboards.
  • Present financial performance and insights to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
  • Implement financial controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Assess and manage financial risks, including currency, credit, and operational risks.
  • Develop strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning.
  • Lead and mentor the finance team, ensuring high performance and professional development.
  • Foster collaboration with other departments (procurement, operations, project controls).
  • Provide financial input for business cases, investment decisions, and strategic initiatives.
  • Support mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions as needed.

Education, Skills & Experience:

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics (Master's or CPA/CFA preferred).
Experience and Skill set

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards, and ERP systems.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and financial software (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
