Reporting to the Director of IT, this role will lead a team of IT technicians and specialists responsible for providing reliable technology and software support across retail locations, bulk plant operations, the corporate office, and satellite offices. The IT Manager will also collaborate with other IT leaders to support and maintain critical infrastructure and ensure the organization’s technology environment remains secure, reliable, and efficient. Manage software lifecycle: deployment plans, upgrades, pilot testing, re-imaging, and vendor coordination for all 3rd-party, internal, and ERP systems.  Drive large-scale rollouts: POS upgrades, new equipment, new location / NTI buildouts. Collaborate cross-functionally to distribute, install, and troubleshoot hardware and software at site level.  Ensure security: implement and enforce internal controls and security policies.  Develop documentation and training content for technical and non-technical staff.  Explore emerging technologies that could benefit the organization and lead pilot programs.  Manage departmental inventory of hardware, software licenses, and related assets.  Provide hands-on support via phone, remote tools, and onsite visits as needed.  QualificationsEDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma (minimum); college degree or equivalent work experience.  2- or 4-year technical certification/degree in a related field — or equivalent hands-on experience in a responsible, independent technical support role.  Previous experience managing and building teams.  Proficiency with Windows OS, iOS, Android, Microsoft Office / M365 suite, and Adobe applications.  Familiarity with ERP system concepts and capabilities.  Experience with remote desktop, screen sharing, and RMM tools.  Understanding of IT security principles and networking fundamentals.  Ability to work with leadership to define and execute a strategic technology vision.  Preferred:  Experience configuring system settings, email, calendar, and networking across mobile and desktop platforms.  Skill in creating documentation and delivering training to non-technical audiences.  Personal Attributes  Strong problem-solving skills with sound, data-driven judgment.  A "dive-in" mentality with a "boots on the ground" approach.  High integrity, dependability, and a strong sense of urgency.  Excellent communicator at all levels of the organization.  Well organized; thrives while multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.  Willing to devote the time needed to be successful — flexible and irregular hours as required.          PHYSICAL DEMANDS:   The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
