Job Overview:
- Install accessories for new sales and counter customers.
- Prep new machines for inventory and presold units.
- Remove and replace engine components as necessary on powersports vehicles.
- Perform preventative and regular maintenance, according to manufacturer specifications.
- Compose repair estimates for internal and external customers.
- Inspect vehicles and identify additional recommended services.
- Prepare list of required parts and labor times for each job.
- Safely and effectively operate all shop equipment and tools.
- Explain diagnostic test results to Service Advisor or Manager, and if necessary, the customer.
- Perform test rides and other tests. Including ORV and Motorcycles.
- Follow all safety rules and guidelines, as determined by management.
- Be willing to perform work outside the mechanic duties as determined by Manager.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Preferred technical degree in related field
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong computer skills with diagnostic and data entry knowledge
- Valid Class M Driver's License (or ability to obtain)
- Acceptable Driving Record
- PA State Inspection License
Estimated hourly rate: $18 - $21/hour (dependent on experience)
