The Elizabethtown Community Hospital is hiring a Registered Professional Nurse for the Medical Surgical department, located in Elizabethtown, New York.
This full-time position requires a graduate of an accredited nursing program with a current NYS RN license, and previous nursing experience is preferred.
The role involves managing patient care on the inpatient unit, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient outcomes.
The salary range for this position is between $36.93 and $57.88 per hour, depending on experience.
Candidates must have strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and be willing to work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, including every other weekend.

The Registered Professional Nurse is responsible for the management of patient care, utilizing the nursing process to access, plan, implement and evaluate patient outcomes on the Inpatient Unit. Qualifications / Job Requirements: Education / Skills Required: • Graduate of an accredited nursing education program and holds a current license as a Registered Professional Nurse in NYS. • Previous experience as a Registered Professional Nurse preferred. • Must possess a high level of interpersonal skills to interact with patients, patient’s families, staff and management. • Must be highly motivated, able to work outside the normal working hours as volume demands. • As applicable, the individual has training, competency in attending to the special needs and/or behavior appropriate to the age of the patients for which care is being given. • Must possess the ability to collaborate with other health personnel. • Must have strong organizational skills
