Ultrasound Tech - Hospital Ultrasound

$10,000 sign on bonus for external candidates

Full-time, third shift (8:30p-6:00a)

15% shift differential

Job Description:

The Ultrasound Tech performs a variety of ultrasound examinations to assist physicians in diagnosing medical conditions and monitoring patient health.

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Allied Health education program (diagnostic medical sonography, radiologic technology, respiratory therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, nursing) and 12 months of full-time clinical ultrasound/vascular experience; or 2. Diploma or degree from an ultrasound/vascular program that is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or the Canadian Medical Association (CMA); or 3. Bachelor's degree (any major) and 12 months of full-time clinical ultrasound/vascular experience; or 4. Bachelor's degree in sonography or vascular technology; or higher.

• Registered or registry eligible by the American Registry of Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).

• Completion of ARDMS Registry within six months of eligibility required.

• BLS preferred upon hire, required within 90 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience working as an Ultrasound Technologist in a hospital or medical imaging facility preferred.

• Additional certification in specialized ultrasound modalities (e.g., abdominal, obstetric, vascular) preferred.
