Primary Job Functions: Supervise the duties and operations of the yard Safely load and unload equipment and materials Perform daily truck and forklift inspections Work with delivery dates, order fulfillments, and receiving Assist customers in selecting and loading merchandise Assist with checking in freight and trucks Keeping yard and warehouse stocked and cleaned Help maintain cleanliness, neatness, and safety of building and lot Help with deliveries to job sites Communicate with call outs and delivery schedules Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments Adheres to all policies and procedures as specified in Employee Handbook Secondary Job Functions: Unload freight and trucks Yard spraying and mowing Help with glass and plexiglass, where applicable Make deliveries Help inside when needed QualificationsQualifications: H.S. Diploma or G.E.D. is preferred Valid drivers license, ability to drive manual transmission Ability to work flexible hours; including evenings, weekends, and holidays Conduct a professional manner Forklift certified is preferred Knowledge of building materials and hardware Professional communication skills Ability to count Good physical condition for lifting Safety conscious
