Summary:

Under the direction of a Radiologist with minimal supervision, performs radiographic procedures. Responsible for designated areas or procedures; performs procedures requiring independent judgment.

Type of Opportunity: Full time FTE: 1.00 Job Exempt: No Work Shift: Days (United States of America)

Responsibilities:

*Performs imaging procedures, operating appropriate equipment. *Processes imaging media, trouble shoots and corrects problems. *Performs basic nursing care. *Performs departmental clerical duties. *Ensures patient s rights are protected. *Participates in Performance Improvement. *Assists with orientation of new personnel; supervises students during their clinical rotation. *Promotes a safe environment.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required, Associates Degree preferred. NM Radiography Technologist (RRT) License or Temporary license required. ARRT R.T.(R) certification preferred at time of hire. *Employee will have a period of 1 year to obtain ARRT certification.
