​To assist the Impacter Systems Operator and Impacter Shift Operator to produce quality forging in substantial quantities, meeting all required production standards.
- Unload bundles of steel from truck to storage with overhead crane.
- Obtain bundle of steel from storage with overhead crane.
- Assist in setting up forging system to proper product specification.
- Assist maintenance personnel with disassembly, maintenance repair and re-assembly operations as directed.
- Operate trim press when in production.
- Operate hot coin press if required.
- Remove scrap and completed parts as required.
- Keep equipment and work area in a clean and orderly condition.
- Perform other duties as required by supervision.
Qualifications
- Basic math and English skills.
- Ability to read basic measuring instruments, such as scales and fixed gauges.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
This role has an hourly salary range of $20 - $28/hr. In addition, you’re eligible for competitive benefits that support you and your family as part of your total rewards package at Klein Tools Inc.
