How you’ll make an impact in this role

  • Establish, revise, and evaluate an effective, patient-centered plan of care that involves the patient and/or family.
  • Advance clinical treatments within a variety of diagnoses including neurological and orthopedic.
  • You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to establish a plan of care.
  • Utilize innovative rehabilitation technologies and best practices to maximize functional recovery and independence.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted required.
  • Speech-Language Pathologist credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Speech language pathologist provisional license will be accepted until license is issued. License must be obtained within 12 months of hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred.

What additional preferences we're seeking

  • A minimum of 1-year SLP experience in Neuro or Outpatient setting.
  • Stroke and swallowing experience.
