How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Develop, implement, and regularly reassess individualized, patient-centered plans of care in collaboration with patients and families.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions across complex diagnoses, including neurological, oncological, orthopedic, cardiopulmonary, and medically complex conditions.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care, optimize outcomes, and support safe, effective discharge planning.
• Utilize innovative rehabilitation technologies and best practices to maximize functional recovery and independence.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Require Current Illinois license as Speech-language Pathologist or Temporary license as Speech-Language Pathologist if in Clinical Fellowship Year required. Recommend Current Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

Education:

• High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required.

• Prior Inpatient experience.
