Line Cook

Job Description: The Line Cooks prepare our wide array of food offerings with care and consistency. Line cooks impact the dining experience immensely as the responsibility of quality food preparation of the majority of our offerings falls to them. Line cook is responsible for staffing the cook line and preparing all the kitchen orders on the cook line.  They are also to assist with sending orders out at the pass-through window.

Essential Functions:

• Staffing the cook line
• Prepare all kitchen orders
• Assist team with sending orders out at the pass-through window
• Expedite meat if they are not busy on the cook line.
• Stocking any missing items from the food line.
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Possesses a friendly, outgoing, positive and enthusiastic attitude
• Ability to be professional and courteous with their teammates
• Able to exercise good judgment while working both independently and collaboratively; works well in a team environment
• Able to work in a noisy and sometimes chaotic environment and be flexible under a variety of circumstances
• Punctual, neat and accurate in work habits; precise and detail-oriented
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays and extended schedules during peak periods
• The ability to adjust to business needs and display a sense or urgency during peak hours. 
• Valid ServSafe Food Handler’s Certificate

Physical Demands

• Able to move from place to place which may include standing and/or walking for extended periods of time
• Lift and carry 50 lbs short distances

Dress Code: Non-slip shoes, no loose clothing

Pay Range: $18.00/hr to $23.00/hr + Tips
