Assists in monthly closings. Prepares analysis of accounts, as required. Assists with special projects, as necessary. Supervises and assists the other payroll employee when necessary. Responsible for accurate and timely payroll preparation, transfers, quarterly reports, W-2's, maintain personnel files and payroll changes and reports.' Monitor, inspect, track and prepare paperwork as required. Know and understand the federal, state and local regulations that affect accounting and personnel areas. Education and/or Experience for the Lead Payroll Specialist: Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
