Description

REPORTS TO: Weld Line Lead


Mobile Track Solutions is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Welder to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you'll fabricate and weld components used in the production of heavy equipment while working from engineering drawings to produce high-quality products in a safe, team-focused environment.


Specific Responsibilties:

  • Perform MIG welding on heavy equipment components and assemblies. 
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions. 
  • Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently. 
  • Inspect weld quality and verify finished work meets specifications. 
  • Use basic measuring tools to ensure accuracy. 
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. 
  • Collaborate with teammates to meet production and quality goals. 
  • Assist with other production tasks as needed.

Requirements

 

What We're Looking For

  • Welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment preferred. 
  • Ability to read blueprints and follow written work instructions. 
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. 
  • Basic measuring and math skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
  • Commitment to workplace safety. 

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred. 
  • AWS certification is a plus but not required. 
  • We are willing to train candidates with mechanical aptitude and a desire to learn. 

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday. 
  • Frequently lift up to 50 lbs. (heavier lifting with assistance). 
  • Ability to safely operate hand tools and manufacturing equipment.
