Position Overview

We are hiring a dedicated and results-driven Extrusion Shift Supervisor for our 2nd shift operations. In this leadership role, you will oversee daily extrusion operations, ensuring safety and quality standards are met, and driving continuous improvement in productivity and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

The Extrusion Shift Supervisor will supervise and coordinate extrusion line activities to meet production schedules and quality targets, monitor equipment performance, address minor maintenance needs, and escalate issues as necessary. You'll train, coach, and develop production staff, conduct shift handovers, communicate key updates, and maintain accurate production records. Collaboration with other departments and support for continuous improvement initiatives are also part of the role.

Qualifications

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting, and at least three years in a supervisory role. Strong knowledge of production operations, quality control, and manufacturing best practices is required, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams/Zoom, and manufacturing software systems. Prior experience with extrusion machinery or processes and ISO standards is preferred.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

Work is performed year-round on a standard manufacturing floor, with exposure to moving mechanical parts, industrial noise, heat, vibration, and airborne particles. PPE is required and provided. The position requires frequent movement, standing and walking for extended periods, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
