The Human Resources Manager is the primary business partner to Bennington鈥檚 Operations teams providing both strategic direction and tactical execution in a variety of HR areas including but not limited to recruiting, onboarding, performance management, succession planning, employee relations, compensation, and training.聽 This position requires a well-rounded Human Resources professional with experience successfully developing positive relationships while being a change agent throughout the organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Lead and develop assigned direct reports

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Support for managers, supervisors, and employees to provide counsel, coaching and support on HR-related topics and issues in a complex and dynamic manufacturing environment

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Regular cadence meetings with production supervisors and managers to ensure support in all HR needs including staffing, performance, succession planning, development plans, etc.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Develops human resources solutions by collecting and analyzing data/information and recommending appropriate action plans

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Create personal SMART goals to align with HR strategic planning initiatives, update goals throughout the year

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Recruiting responsibility for assigned office and salaried positions

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Provide HR-level support and oversight of the Master Boat Builder programs (MBB)

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Labor & Employee Relations liaison responsible for monthly reports, surveys, leading focus groups, action planning, etc.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Manage master production roster that is sent to leadership team weekly and communicate changes as needed

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Plan, oversee, and facilitate employee engagement and appreciation activities, holiday parties, cookouts, etc.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Facilitate new hire orientations, complete E-Verify process & enter new hires in ADP

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Update and maintain internal communications (North Star News, bulletin boards, monitors, ADP, etc)

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Writes, revises and maintains hourly and salaried job descriptions

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Participate in annual strategic planning including HR long-range planning and organizational & talent review

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Oversee annual office review process, including training of all leaders and in-scope employees

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ensure proper investigation documentation is complete, enter in case management system, and ensure all appropriate actions and communication are done

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Spend time on the floor weekly to be an HR presence for employees and build relationships 聽

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Provide scheduled and ad hoc reporting to company leadership

Qualifications

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 BS in Human Resources or related field required

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 5+ years of Human Resources experience in a fast-paced manufacturing facility required

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Prior recruitment experience with production and professional level roles

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems, ADP Workforce Now is a plus

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Skilled at building custom reports in various platforms and data analysis

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Demonstrated project management and multi-tasking skills while staying organized and detail-oriented

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization and build strong relationships

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills are a must

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
