Maintenance Technician

1st shift Maintenance Technician – Tile Redi

Description: The primary goal of the Maintenance Technician is to assist the Maintenance Lead maintain and repair the machinery and equipment used to manufacture product for our customers and provide building and facility maintenance. Tile Redi is seeking either a Technician based on the skills and experience of the best candidate. The Maintenance Technician will work alongside others to dismantle/install/repair new and existing equipment. This role is also responsible for performing scheduled preventative maintenance as required. DO NOT call Tile Redi Human Resources to apply – all applicants must apply via Indeed.

Specific Duties:

1) Perform preventative maintenance and maintain appropriate oil levels in all equipment

2) Observe manufacturing machinery to diagnose any malfunctions and determine needed repairs

3) Assist with wiring electronic devices and/or electrical panels

4) Schedule and maintain records of preventative maintenance on key machinery and equipment

5) Repair or replace damaged or worn components

6) Assist in the general upkeep of the facility

7) Support appropriate safety measures

8) Assist in maintenance of the company vehicle

9) Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

1. General working knowledge of power tools/hand tools and basic mechanical principles

2. High school diploma or GED certificate

3. At least 3-5 years of maintenance experience

4. At least 3-5 years of manufacturing experience (preferred)

5. Experience with pumps, temperature controls, electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and press machines are a required.

6. Posses the ability to diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical equipment issues.

7. Industrial electrical troubleshooting experience required. (motor starting circuits, contactors, overloads, and experience with electrical multi-meters)

Pay: $36.00 - $39.00 per hour depending on experience level
