This role is located in the Elkhart, IN.

What You'll Do:

As the Sales Administrator, you will act as a liaison between our customers and the company. You will also work alongside other sales team members to create quotes and process sales orders.

Your Accountabilities in the Role:

  • Handles sales quotes and order management to ensure timely and accurate order processing.
  • Coordinates product price lists and special project quotes.
  • Answers customer telephone calls and email requests in a professional and timely manner.
  • Acts as the point of contact for customers to provide support and foster relationships.
  • Aids in organizing quarterly webinars, specific project meetings, and other regular needs for Sales Partners and internal Sales Managers.
  • Processes needed data-entry for customer profiles and order details into CRM, invoicing system, and other databases to ensure smooth operations and timely responses.
  • Develops and maintains SOP documents and work instructions to continually improve effectiveness within the Sales department.

Position Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma or Associate's degree in marketing, business administration, communications or technical fields like physics and electrical engineering technologies.
  • Experience: 2+ years of administrative experience in electronics, automotive, or aerospace industries.
  • Certifications: NA
  • Functional Skills: Proven ability to manage documents, tasks, and deadlines; ability to be accurate and problem solve; detailed in documentation; proficient computer and math skills; high ability to listen and provide solutions over the phone and/or in person; works committedly with others to solve problems and resolve situations.
  • Technology Skills: Advanced aptitude with computers, CRM systems, Microsoft, and other presentation systems.
  • Communication Skills: Advanced verbal and written communication skills; able to present to internal/external groups and communicate technical matters to all levels within and outside of the organization.
  • Leadership/ Behaviors: Strong focus on customers and quality; able to work independently and within teams; ability to think, listen, reflect and create solutions; calm personality, collaborative and supportive of teams and customers.
  • Culture Match: Able to do what is right for the customers, team members, and company.

Other Important Information:

Pay/Salary: Pay is commensurate with proven expertise.

And, the compensation will grow as the team member grows!

Reports To: Director of Sales

Core Hours: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (schedule can be slightly flexible; will work approx. 8 hours within this timeframe)

Typical Work Week: M-F; 40 - 45 hours a week on average
