Cycle Counter – Core Responsibilities
The Cycle Counter is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy through routine cycle counting, inventory verification, discrepancy investigation, and inventory control activities. This role supports manufacturing operations by ensuring inventory records accurately reflect physical inventory and by identifying opportunities for process improvement.
- Generate and perform scheduled DAILY cycle counts of raw materials, work-in-process (WIP), and finished goods inventory.
- Verify inventory quantities and locations to ensure inventory record accuracy.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and determine root causes through transaction research and physical audits.
- Process inventory adjustments in accordance with our set guidelines and approval requirements when necessary.
- Maintain accurate inventory records within the INFOR system.
- Audit material movements and transactions to ensure compliance with inventory control procedures.
- Collaborate with Production, Warehouse, Shipping, Receiving, Quality, and Material Control teams to resolve inventory issues.
- Conduct location audits and ensure proper material identification, storage, and labeling.
- Establishing designated bins-PFEP
- Assist with physical inventory count audits – management counts monthly
- Supervisor selects part(s)
- Generate inventory accuracy reports and communicate findings to management.
- Repeat discrepancies – follow up and communicate
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of inventory records and reports.
- Manage the quality return process for all vendor returns to include completion of incoming inspection where required.

Physical Demands:Â Lifting of up to 50lbs on a daily basis

*40 hours per week with potential for overtime.Â

Required Education and Experience:
*High school diploma or equivalent.
