General Laborer

Weekend Nights - Friday-Sunday 6 pm - 6 am.  Work 36 hours get paid for 40 hours!!

Perform various tasks on the production floor. Maintain quality and safety standards; keep records; maintain equipment and supplies. 

Principal Responsibilities:

• Versatile in a wide range of operations needed in a manufacturing environment
• Efficiently deburr and polish high-quality parts 
• Use required machinery and hand/measuring tools in accordance with routers and blueprints
• Prepare parts for inspection 
• Clean, sweep, and empty bins on the production floor as needed 
• Ability to stand and operate machinery throughout the duration of shift, except for scheduled breaks 
• Ability to lift required objects with or without assistance, turn, load/unload required objects 
• Demonstrate safe work habits
• Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and orderly manner
• Maintain current, overall, and job specific trainings and requirements 
• Assist in other departments as needed 
• Other duties as assigned 

Safe Practice Guidelines / Required Personal Protective Equipment:

• Safety glasses with side shields as required 
• Steel toed/metatarsal safety shoes as required 
• Gloves as required
• Earplugs as required
• Welding hood, jacket, face shield, and/or gloves as required 
• Fire Retardant (FR) clothing as required 
• N-95 mask or respirator as required
• Seat belts required on all forklifts

Qualifications and Educational Requirements: 

• Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
• Detail oriented 
• Manage time with little to no supervision, self-motivated
• General knowledge and experience in a manufacturing environment
• AS9100 Quality compliance, understanding, and commitment
• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
