This company is seeking a skilled Production Coordinator to assist in managing quotes, production sheets, and scheduling in the absence of the primary supervisor. The ideal candidate must possess strong computer skills, proficiency in reading blueprints, excellent math abilities, and the capacity to supervise on a temporary basis. This is an associate to hire opportunity in Elkhorn, WI.
Production Coordinator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Generate quotes for projects based on provided specifications and requirements
- Create and maintain production sheets detailing materials, quantities, and project timelines
- Develop and manage production schedules to ensure timely completion of projects
- Utilize computer software and tools to assist in project management and scheduling tasks
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately
- Perform mathematical calculations to determine material quantities and project costs
- Supervise production activities on a temporary basis when the primary supervisor is unavailable
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and project coordination
Production Coordinator Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment
- Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office Suite and project management software
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to perform calculations accurately
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
- Capacity to supervise and lead on a temporary basis
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules
