  • Candidates should have strong knowledge of ServiceNow architecture and best practices, with the ability to engage in both strategic and practical aspects of delivery.

  • Salary details are not specified in the job description, but candidates with an active federal security clearance are encouraged to apply.

About the Role

Norseman Services is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Architect to support a growing portfolio of federal and commercial engagements.

This role is ideal for an architect who enjoys solving complex platform challenges, working directly with customers, and helping delivery teams build solutions that remain scalable, maintainable, and aligned with long-term business outcomes.

You will operate at the intersection of architecture, delivery, and stakeholder alignment. Depending on the engagement, your work may include solution design, platform governance, module strategy, integration oversight, roadmap planning, and hands-on guidance for implementation teams.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead solution architecture and platform design discussions for ServiceNow implementations, enhancements, and transformation initiatives.

  • Translate business and technical requirements into scalable solution designs, implementation approaches, and governance recommendations.

  • Partner with customers, delivery leaders, developers, business analysts, and platform owners to ensure architectural decisions support business goals and long-term platform health.

  • Provide architectural guidance across ServiceNow products and capabilities based on engagement needs.

  • Establish and reinforce best practices for configuration, customization, integrations, security, testing, documentation, and upgrade readiness.

  • Guide data architecture decisions involving APIs, integrations, data modeling, transformation, service relationships, CMDB, and CSDM.

  • Contribute to platform roadmaps, environment strategy, technical documentation, and architecture reviews.

  • Mentor technical team members and help elevate solution quality throughout the delivery lifecycle.

What You Bring

  • At least five years of meaningful ServiceNow architecture experience supporting digital transformation and platform strategy.

  • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture, solution design, governance, and delivery best practices.

  • ArchX, CTA, or comparable ServiceNow architecture experience or credentials.

  • The ability to move comfortably between strategic architecture conversations and practical delivery execution.

  • Deep expertise in one or more areas such as ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, CMDB/CSDM, SecOps, HRSD, CSM, SPM, FSM, IRM, Now Assist, integrations, workflow design, governance, or automation.

  • Strong communication skills and experience working directly with customers, technical teams, and organizational leadership.

  • A demonstrated ability to recommend scalable, maintainable platform decisions, not simply execute assigned tickets.

Nice to Have

  • ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CAD, CIS, CTA, or other relevant credentials.

  • Experience working in consulting, managed services, or enterprise platform ownership.

  • Experience supporting federal, regulated, or security-conscious environments.

  • Hands-on ServiceNow implementation experience.

  • Experience with industry solutions such as HCLS, PSDS, or TPSM.

Location and Clearance

This is a remote position open to candidates located in the United States.

Clearance requirements vary by engagement. Candidates with an active federal security clearance are encouraged to apply, but a clearance is not required for every assignment.
