Desktop Support Technician (Onsite Distribution Center)
Position Overview
We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide hands-on IT support within a large distribution center environment. This role serves as the primary onsite IT contact, supporting warehouse operations, office staff, and critical technology across a high-volume hardware environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide onsite desktop and end-user support throughout the distribution center and office spaces.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving:
- Windows-based workstations
- Zebra scanners, printers, and mobile devices
- Time clocks and warehouse technology
- Support a large-scale hardware environment consisting of 2,000-3,000+ endpoints.
- Manage and resolve incidents through ServiceNow.
- Perform device deployments, replacements, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance.
- Provide basic audio/visual support, including conference room technology and Cisco WebEx-enabled devices.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to prioritize incidents and manage support queues.
- Maintain a high level of customer service and serve as the primary onsite IT resource.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of IT support experience.
- Experience providing hands-on desktop support, field support, or onsite technical support.
- Strong troubleshooting experience with:
- Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11)
- Laptops, desktops, printers, and related hardware
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, operational environment.
- Comfortable walking the facility and standing for extended periods throughout the day.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting technology in a distribution center, warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environment.
- Candidates need to live in or near the Ellabell or Savannah region, as this is on-site.
- Hands-on experience with Zebra devices, including scanners, printers, and mobile computers.
- Familiarity with Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms.
- Experience with endpoint management and support tools.
- Exposure to audio/visual technologies, including Cisco WebEx conference room solutions.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $37440.00 - $45760.00/yr.
