Overview

The repair tech will be responsible for the day to day communication between the customer and Mobis. they will be responsible for the investigations, troubleshooting, and diagnostics. the repair techs must be detailed in their documentation along with representing Mobis in a professional manner at the customer.

Responsibilities

To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.)

  • Liaison between MOBIS and
  • Investigate all MOBIS related issues as reported.
  • Troubleshoot to determine and evaluate material to identify defects, or quality issues
  • Communicate effectively with QC Supervisor and customers regarding observations, issues, updates in a timely manner.
  • Maintain professional and positive interactions with customers at all times
  • Identify and Perform repair replacement of defective, or damage parts in compliance with quality standards and requirements.
  • Ensure and inspect all parts functioning properly prior to release of the vehicle and adhere to Quality requirements.
  • Report all issues on Daily Shift Report
  • Update Traceability for all electrical components
  • Use MES system to confirm produced dates and replacement parts
  • Comply with the rules of the customer while at the customer
  • All other duties assigned

Qualifications

(The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required and preferred for this position.)

 

Required Education & Experience:

  • Experience: 0-2 years
  • Education: High School Diploma/GED preferred

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • 1-3 Years Automotive Repair experience, preferably OEM experience
  • Knowledge of MOBIS, Customer Assembly Process and Module functions
  • Previous Automotive Tool usage preferred (recreational or professional)
  • Critical Thinking Skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook Software.
  • Must be able to work weekends as needed.

Preferred Education & Experience:

  • Experience: 0-3 years
  • High School Diploma/GED preferred

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:

  • Valid Driver License

Working Conditions:

  • Work inside and outside in all climate conditions
  • Ability to lift a maximum of 50 lbs. with assistance.
  • Ability to work in vehicles
