Team Member - 2nd Shift

This position is a 2nd Shift role. The expected start date for this position is Summer 2026.


Be a part of our rapidly expanding startup team by taking on the role of Team Member at GLOVIS EV Logistics America LLC. In this essential position, a Team Member is responsible for picking, scanning, and placement of various automotive parts according to customer orders following Standard Operating procedures to deliver parts in correct sequence, time, and volume.   Repacking parts, breaking down containers, auditing/cycle counting area inventory, etc. are additional examples of activities for team members.      

We are in search of skilled individuals with excellent interpersonal abilities, a comprehensive grasp of equipment operating, and a dedication to enhancing the overall success of the organization.

 

Department: Operations 

Reports to: Operations Supervisor/Assistant Manager

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 2nd Shift - Expected schedule for 2026 and 2027:

                                                               

Until August 2026 = 6am-2:30pm (Training)

August 2026 = 11am-7:30pm

September 2026 = 2:30pm-11pm

October 2026 until 3rd shift starts in 2027 = 4:30pm-1am

Once 3rd shift starts = 2pm-10:30pm

(Rotating weekends and overtime may be required) (Schedule is subject to further change based on production requirements)


Location: Onsite, Ellabell, GA 31308


 

Team Member Key Responsibilities:

  • Work in a traditional warehousing type environment while picking parts according to customer order and placing parts in work areas or storage locations, while following all company rules and Standard Operator Procedures.
  • Read customer orders, shipping orders, or documents to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed and/or shipped.
  • Fill requisitions, shipping orders, or documents to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, and/or shipped.
  • Move items from bulk containers or racks, shelves, or in bins according to customer requirements.  Breakdown pallets/containers as needed.  
  • Will be required to monitor and replenish materials lineside and at various stations in accordance with company Standard Operating Procedures.        
  • Effectively work as part of a team or independently as needed.
  • Scan materials and move them according to standard work instructions where applicable.
  • Maintain Plant 5S as required.
  • Able to work required scheduled deemed necessary to meet the production goals and Key Performance Indicators of the site. Schedule may fluctuate based on the needs of the business.
  • Follow/uphold all Company Safety Procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications for a Team Member:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of one year of experience of distribution or warehouse experience, preferably in automotive environment. 
  • Must be able to perform basic to moderately difficult mathematical functions involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, averaging, and percentages.
  • Previous experience using scanners and WMS would be preferred.        
  • Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and recognize when and how to effectively collaborate with others.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly focused with excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.

  • Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
  • Ability to Bend, turn, and use peripherals as required to operate equipment safely within company standard operator procedures. 
  • Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products off shelves, as well as replenish product, from various heights weighing up to 50 lbs., depending on the location, throughout shift.
  • Able to work in a warehouse environment for up to 8-hour shifts, and any overtime hours if applicable.

The estimated base hourly rate for the Team Member is $21.29 an hour. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that GLOVIS EA reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel.
