An organized, task oriented and versatile professional that works closely with the Director of Operations to identify, develop, and implement operational elements of the Supercross and SuperMotocross events. The position will oversee advance planning and on-site execution in addition to relationship development and communications with various contractors and venue personnel. Works well in a collaborative, fast paced and fluid environment.

Essential Functions

Works with Feld Motorsports teams to build Supercross and SuperMotocross events in multiple NFL/MLB stadiums around the country. While doing so with a keen eye on fiscal responsibility, safety and time management.

Management of multiple direct reports to accomplish tasks in a fast paced and evolving environment.

Develop and maintain relationships with multiple contractors and venue’s while effectively communicating needs/changes and adjustments to site plans and schedules.

Adherence and oversight of spending across multiple departmental budgets.

Inspire new ways of thinking and exploring fresh and unique approaches to maximize efficiencies for operational staff.


Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, event management, sports management or equivalants

5+ Years related experience

Construction or large-scale events experience preferred

Knowledge of OSHA Requirements


Skills & Abilities

Microsoft Software suite capabilities required. AutoCad or similar capabilities beneficial

Ability to work in a team environment as well as self-starting and independent work that requires minimal direction

Ability to endure longer periods of standing, sitting, walking.

Great time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines, prioritizing multiple time sensitive projects and the ability to work within the pressure of live event environments.

Ability to recognize challenges in advance and think critically to solve them, while supporting staff and providing direction to accomplish goals.

Knowledge of basic mechanical, electrical, grounds keeping are helpful.

Ability to travel 50% (approximate 22 weeks per year)
