CNC Machinist

Job Responsibilities
- Operate CNC milling, turning, and other machining equipment to fabricate parts and components to specifications.
- Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints, ensuring precision in each project.
- Conduct regular machine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure functionality and safety.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to provide feedback and suggest improvements for manufacturing processes.
- Maintain accurate records of production, quality, and other relevant metrics.
- Uphold the company's commitment to quality by exercising attention to detail and implementing best practices in machining.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior machinists as needed.
Essential Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in CNC machining preferred.
- Proficiency in operating CNC machines and understanding related tools and equipment.
- Strong mathematical skills, particularly in relation to measurements and tolerances.
- Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
Desired Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CNC machinist in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with various machining techniques, including 5 Axis machining, EDM, and precision grinding.
- Experience with quality control and inspection tools such as CMM measuring equipment.
- Proven track record of producing high-quality machined components on time and within specifications.
