Do you love helping people, staying organized, and being the friendly voice that patients hear first? At Ellsworth County Medical Center, our Patient Access Representatives are the gateway to great care—making sure every patient feels welcomed, supported, and on the right track from the very beginning. What You’ll Do (a.k.a. Your Superpowers ): ✨ Be the first friendly face at check-in for hospital or clinic patients Collect and update patient info (demographics, insurance, signatures) Verify insurance & eligibility, process co-pays, deductibles, and more Answer calls like a pro—whether it’s urgent, routine, or “just need directions” Schedule, confirm, and update patient appointments with accuracy Send clear, professional messages to providers & teammates Help with scanning, filing, faxing, and other clerical tasks (because details matter!)
