Job Title: Quality Improvement Associate

Department: Cardiology

Main Function

Responsible for assisting in the collection, analysis, and monitoring of data used to assess compliance with regulatory requirements, operations, and policies within the Radiology Department. Provides clerical and administrative support within a team environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

Quality Improvement

- General understanding of medical terminology and EMR systems

- Supports quality improvement and compliance initiatives

- Identifies compliance gaps and improvement opportunities

- Assists with performance improvement projects

Clerical

- Answers phones professionally and courteously

- Takes messages and communicates information appropriately

- Communicates effectively with internal and external customers

- Serves as department receptionist and supports visitors

Other Responsibilities

- Maintains confidentiality

- Attends meetings and required trainings

- Demonstrates strong customer service skills

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; medical or hospital experience preferred.

Experience

- Strong organizational and customer service skills

- Experience with Microsoft Office

Physical Demands

Walking, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
