Server, Hundredfold American Brasserie

Delaware North's Patina Group is hiring full-time and part-time Server to join our team at Hundredfold American Brasserie in Elmont, New York. As a Server, you will have the privilege of representing our restaurant and creating lasting impressions through your exceptional service, making each guest feel valued and satisfied. Please note this is a tipped position; the hourly minimum pay listed doesn’t include any potential tipped earnings.

• Greet and attend to guests’ needs, provide menus and clearly communicate restaurant specials, answer menu questions, and collect food and beverage orders
• Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly, adhering to all alcohol service policies and procedures
• Accurately enter orders into the point-of-sale system and process payments, as well as prepare and deliver the check to guests
• Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen and bar staff
• Perform opening, closing, cleaning, and side work duties, as assigned, and ensure all equipment and workspaces are clean, sanitized, organized, and functioning

• Experience in cash handling and credit card processing
• Beneficial if you have one year’s experience as a server in a high-volume environment and experience with a point-of-sale system in a service or hospitality environment
• No high school diploma or GED required

• Must be able to lift 35 lbs, as well as walk, which may include walking up stairs, standing, and bending for long periods of time 
• Visual awareness and hearing sufficient to take orders and prepare checks
